Hideaway Cottage is a delightful 2 bedroom cottage, one double and one single bedroom, hidden away in one of the historic yards of Penrith. Ideally situated for The North Lakes, The Westmorland Dales, The Eden Valley & The Northern Pennines. A new holiday let for the 2022 season and our guests have said it’s the best cottage they’ve ever stayed in. Although situated in the centre of Penrith you are isolated from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet only a couple of minutes walk to pubs, restaurants and the speciality shops for which Penrith is so famous. Bus station only 3 minutes walk. Train station 10 minutes. Car Parks less than 2 minutes.
Buses run from Penrith to Pooley Bridge, Glenridding, Keswick and Windermere. You can even travel by open top bus and fares are currently capped at only £2.00 per journey.
Sorry we are unable to accept children under five or pets.
Entertainments include Sky Signature TV, Netflix, Prime Video and a selection of books and board games.
Free Wifi is Full Fibre 300.

"A delightful two Bedroomed Cottage"
Although we had a lot of work to do on our little holiday cottage, built in 1850, we have managed to combine the old with the new.

We put a lot of thought into the interior design with the help of Satu Interiors of Penrith.

Although we are just off the Town centre, being situated in one of Penrith’s historic yards, shields us from everyday life.

They are Emma Original Mattresses, we believe these to be the best on the market.

Penrith is charming and the location of the cottage is both hidden away in a quiet corner yet in the middle of everything too.
